Trademark is a sign that individualizes the goods or services of a given enterprise and distinguishes them from the goods of its competitors.

Trade Marks

Copyright protects literary and artistic works including writings, music, works of the fine arts, such as paintings and sculptures,  computer programs, electronic databases etc.

Copyrights

 

Patents are granted for “Inventions” i.e. a solution to a specific problem in the field of technology. An  invention may relate to a product or process.

 

Basic criteria of Patentability:

 

· New or novel

· Non-obvious

· Industrial application

Patents

 

Industrial Design is that aspect of a useful article which is ornamental or aesthetic.

Designs

Geographical Indication (GI) is a notice stating that a given product originates in a given geographical area.
