AvcFred Wilson of Union Square Ventures is one of the smartest VCs in the business today: Not only does he blog, he uses his blog as a laboratory to determine what Web 2.0 technology really works - and what doesn’t.

FeedBurner, a company Wilson has invested in, sells advertising in RSS feeds, including Wilson’s own blog, “A VC: Musings of a VC in NYC.” Wilson says he makes about $1,000 a month off RSS-feed ads. Now, he’s reinvesting half of his take in advertising his blog on other blogs.
